January 25 2008
Came across this link thanks to Josh Spear. I love Josh Kenyon's style of illustration.
Above is a piece entitled "Save a Life". It sold already I believe. I'd love a custom guitar like this one. His apparel section is also amazing. And actually, if you are interested in purchasing any of the clothing, you can do so at http://substratumapparel.com/. The website is quite nice.

January 17 2008
Once again, thanks to "Illustration Now!" by Julius Wiedemann, I came across the work of Stina Persson, an amazing Illustrator from Stockholm, Sweden. I love the watercolour portion of her portfolio. It's as though a lot of the pieces have no real frame or borders. And the colour combinations are amazing.
I am not sure what the above Illustration is entitled, but I love it all the same!

Stunning Illustrations by Linn Olofsdotter
January 16 2008
OK guys. This might be old news if you subscribe to Computer Arts, but the January cover rocks the show! After reading the interview on page 82, I checked out Linn Olofsdotter's website. The artwork blows my mind! The piece above was created for Avantgarde Magazine. I believe it is entitled "Autumn Depression".
The artist's style is extremely diverse. One of my new favorite Illustrators. In the interview Linn speaks of doing possible oil paintings in the future. I can't wait!

A friend of mine just got this great 3 colour silk screen print from Arkitip. The artist responsible for this one is none other than Evan Hecox. When you're there check out my favorite, "Mexico City Print". And best of all, it's printed on environmentally friendly paper.
You can learn more about Evan Hecox at evanhecox.com.

Holy Crap! Check out the latest piece from the online portfolio of Jeff Boyes. The work is appropriately titled "Bill Murray". The detail is incredible and there's no mistaking the identity.
I am staring at the actual print on my wall right now. Those are the perks when you've been friends with the artist for over 10 years. Keep it up Jeff!
